Friendly staff, rooms clean and beautiful property. Nice pickleball court. Close to the town with good street. Sad that the rooms don’t have refrigerator neither microwave. Also, there is no chair in the room, you will have to be seating on the beds all the time.

Beautiful Spot in El Valle

Took a quick trip up to El Valle during our stay in Panama on the beach. What a beautiful location, the grounds are so lush, and the scenery so beautiful. We enjoyed drinks down at the brewery and a lovely dinner and breakfast on site. The rooms are simple, but clean and had everything we needed.

The pictures do not do this place justice. It's beautiful, backs up to the mounts, the grounds are well manicured, and the staff is amazing. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon!

Great stay in El Valle

Great Location with beautiful views and easy access to town of El Valle. Shower water can run a little cold by American standards but not anything too bad. Nice staff and the black cat that lives at the hotel is the friendliest creature ever. Microbrewery on site is cool too

I wish I could 3.5 stars. 3 seems too few, but 4 too many. We booked two Deluxe King Rooms with Mountain Views. The receptionist told us they don't have any king rooms, and they don't have mountain views so they put us in rooms with two queen beds instead. The lady was very nice, but it wasn't a good start. The rooms were very clean and had been recently renovated. This was good. The views were not that bad. The beds were very comfortable but the property is quite loud (dogs, animals, and people), so if you want to sleep in, this may not be the best fit for you. Unfortunately they didn't provide any bottles of water, or little coffee makers in the room. If you want/need to drink something late at night, you're kind of out of luck since the restaurant and reception closes. My uncle needed to take a pill, used some tap water as that was the only option, and got quite sick as he's not used to the water here. Would I recommend this property? Yes, but bring water, and double check with the property what rooms may actually be available - or even exist.

I stayed at Hotel Campestre in El Valle de Antón. The location is beautiful and very peaceful, with fresh mountain air and a relaxing atmosphere. If you are looking for tranquility, this is definitely a positive point. However, there were some issues during my stay. The room keys are old-fashioned, and one day I was locked inside my room for almost an hour. Fortunately, I had the phone number of a taxi driver who helped me contact reception. Communication can also be difficult if you do not speak Spanish. Only one staff member spoke good English, while most of the staff spoke Spanish only. Breakfast was included with my room, but it was exactly the same every day, which became repetitive during a longer stay. In addition, when the hotel hosts large groups or seminars, the evenings can become very noisy, which takes away from the peaceful atmosphere. Finally, I found the room rates rather high compared with other hotels in El Valle that offer more facilities, including a swimming pool. Since there is no pool at this hotel, the value for money was not as good as I expected. Overall, a pleasant and quiet location, but there is room for improvement in terms of facilities, maintenance, communication, and value for money.

The establishment is enchanting! We only had dessert at hotel restaurant but it was delicious! The grounds are easy to explore and the frog habitat and walking trail are 100% worth it! We learned and saw so much, even a sloth within arms reach. The staff were helpful and when we had a leak in room from a down pour they quickly got a room change for us. We can’t wait to visit again!
