"This is our second stay at this hotel. Its rooms have been modernised but still show a hint of their earlier days which is a look I like. Great shower and small kitchen area for a morning wake up cuppa. Heaps of restaurants nearby and of course the bars downstairs. Even though the rooms are above the bars it’s not noisy at all. "

"The room is modern and internet was super fast. The restaurant food and service were excellent--best grilled fish and chips and fisherman's basket we tasted for a long time. Room is spacious, clean and comfortable. we like it so much, we are returning again mid-week. The service was best in class. Bed is comfortable. Location is safe and well located. "The apartment was brilliant and so comfortable and clean. Peter and Jim were so friendly and welcoming. The balcony was fantastic with great views of the street activity, night life and the ocean. Beach and jetty walks were lovely and all variety of cafes, pubs and restaurants were within minutes to walk to. One of the best apartments we have ever stayed at! We will definitely be back!"

"The immediate surroundings were very pleasant, and I appreciated the feeling of safety. The town house itself was new and clean, which contributed to a very comfortable experience. The only drawback I noted was the lack of a ground-floor toilet. While I personally did not have an issue with the stairs, I feel this property would be unsuitable for guests who require accommodation without stairs."

"The location was excellent with lovely water views. Pity about the trains close by but they did stop at night. Apart from that, it was very quiet. The property was convenient for shops, restaurants and beach. The owner provided basic provisions including milk, teabags and bread which was very welcome after a long journey. The free wifi was fast and reliable. The property was well equipped but needs a little TLC in areas."
