We absolutely loved our stay. The only thing as i travel often with my two child was the saunas each in the male and female toilets. For a luxury hotel it provided everything i needed. Definitely recommend the breakfast.

Amazing stay ruined by night club music until 5am

Hotel and service were amazing, however the postioning of our room meant we were kept awake the entire night by music from a night club at the base of the hotel. Music finally stopped at 5am.

This property was in a convenient location, clean and adequate. I would say though, we got the bare minimum for the price we paid. Decent tea and coffee making facilities (as in more than two regular teabags, real milk and a couple of plain biscuits) should be included at a decent Australian hotel, plus a folder with things to do around the city and hotel details. Mini bar prices were ridiculous.

Cannot fault it at all. - However we ended up having to request a baby travel cot 4 times before it arrived. - Ordered room service and after a fault with the in room tablet, it turned up after nearly two hours. -Pool changing rooms were left pretty messy. + Buffet breakfast was really good, also had a drink in Garçon Blue the evening before which was very good. + Location and amenities

Issue with staff having me on hold at 10.28pm until 10.31pm and then telling me we are too late to order room service. The staff member continued to tell me the website says last orders at 10.30pm and wasn’t interested when I told him the website doesn’t mention 10.30pm at all on the times listed for room service, it only says that when you click on the menu. I showed this to the concierge in the morning and he will pass it on. Otherwise it was amazing service but this person on the phone (10.28pm from room 1504) didn’t care.

There is a lot to like about this hotel. The room was large and well appointed. Breakfast was very good. Staff were generally friendly. However, two issues raise concerns about whether his hotel is committed to client-facing service. The minibar wasn't replenished. The onus is on the guest to order the replenishments through a device but I wasn't able to navigate the process. The bar wasn't open on the Tuesday that I was a there and I consider this to be a 'non-event' for a large hotel.

Substandard Sofitel

There is no restaurant available on a Monday. Room service the food was ok but no basic condiments such as pepper salt tomato sauce Not acceptable in a Sofitel. I would not have booked if I had known there was only room service. I was charged for parking despite stating I did not require it and had no car
