"The Woodlands is lovely. It's not a perfect hotel, some of the rooms need a spruce up and ours was directly above the kitchen so our bathroom smelled of cooking for much of the time, but it's a charming place with lots of character and lovely staff."

"GREAT STAY - FRIENDLY RECEPTIONIST WHO SORTED OUR ROOM OUT FOR A QUITER LOCATION AS WE ARRIVED TOO EARLY TO CHECK IN. ROOM WAS CLEAN GREAT TEA TRAY. GREAT BATHROOM WITH GOOD SHOWER - ONLY DOWNSIDE ROOM WAS HOT DID GO DOWN TO RECEPTION FOR A FAN HOWEVER, THEY WERE BUSY SO DID NOT WANT TO TROUBLE THEM SO I AM SURE IF I WAITED THEY WOULD OF PROVIDED A FAN. DID NOT EAT IN HOTEL SO CANNOT COMMENT"

"my husband and i stayed at the hilton for two nights. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay although we felt the drinks were very expensive. Booked a lovely meal for £19.99 per person on our first night. the only downside i wish we had requested a room with a river view, our room looked straight onto a building site, all in all a great weekend away."
