We loved the ability to walk to various sites, restaurants, and Galway's many excellent pubs. Highly recommended. Bring a good raincoat. We got drenched and had to iron our clothes dry."

"My husband and I had a phenomenal stay at Oranhill Lodge B&B. It is a fabulous location just steps outside Oranmore village - a charming town just a 15 min drive/bus ride from Galway. We didn’t rent a car and had an easy time getting to/from Galway city with the bus located just down the road from the B&B. "The staff were very hospitable and made my stay enjoyable. They gave me a map and recommended me a list of the different places to visit depending on what i’d be interested in such as pubs with traditional Irish music and place open late night. My room was surprisingly on the ground floor which actually provided a nice view of the bridge and the river flowing by the Spanish arch.
