Spa was enjoyed by my wife and walked the town to see the lake and historical sites. Pub in town was inviting and friendly and the food was great. Good place to go if you want comfort and quiet.

We had an enjoyable Family stay at this hotel for 2 nights. The room was very clean and bigger than we had expected it to be. Breakfast was very nice both mornings and staff were very accommodating. Very quiet hotel. Would definitely stay again and will highly recommend.

A nice comfortable stay

The place to stay in Loughrea

It is a modern spacious hotel. The rooms are excellent. The bar and restaurant are convenient, the breakfast is fine. The rooms are comfortable. The hotel is good value.

Poor from start to finish had to check out a day early fire alarm going off all night set off on purpose and nothing done about it Truly the worst stay possibly ever

Great hotel - book spa treatment prior to arrival

We have stayed here many times and it's a great hotel. Decided to pay extra for late checkout but house keeping had other ideas even with the "do not disturb" sign on the door!!! If looking for a spa treatment book before you arrive

Lovely hotel

Lovely hotel , great food , comfortable , great view of the lake and nice staff . The only downfall was in the bar the cocktails were the worst I’ve ever had. They clearly need training on how to make them . I tried a few different ones and they were truly awful

5 minutes from the motorway. Plenty of parking. Bar was nice. Breakfast was good. Countryside setting. Local service station next door. Lake nearby nice for walks. View was nice. We had a family room and the room was very large.

I stayed in the Loughrea hotel with my two daughters. It was amazing. The only issue we had was a taxi back to the hotel from Galway city cost us €82. That was a rip off. Martin was amazing as were all the staff, but he certainly went out of his way to make our stay perfect. Hope to be back. Majella.

Excellent - so we booked a return stay

I asked for a quiet room, at the back, away from the lifts. Many hotels don’t bother even trying to facilitate such requests. But not here. We got exactly what we requested and we got a great night's sleep. In fact the lifts are well away from the bedrooms, a nice design feature. The room was big. Two armchairs. Comfortable bed. Everywhere spotless. (Small niggle: no fridge or safe in the room). Staff are exceptional - reception, bar and breakfast room. Excellent breakfast. We had a lovely dinner in the bar. It was busy, but very comfortable. When we were checking out we booked a room for next month. Looking forward to it.

We had a terrible experience with this hotel during our stay here, although the property was lovely the staff were rude and condescending. On breakfast the first day we were waiting for over an hour to be served, one of our company was gluten free and asked multiple times for GF bread and told they would bring it over and then was forgotten about. Eventually we went over to the manager on duty and asked for some bread and she came over and very abruptly almost threw it at us as “she was very busy”. Then at checkout we were told that one of the rooms had not been paid for even though the bill had been settled in cash upon arrival. While trying to explain this the day manager came out who was a Grey Haired lady working the 10.30 shift on the 23rd August, said that we had not paid the proper rate and demanded we pay €265 as she had not bothered to check the Expedia price, overall it was a terrible experience in which she made us feel like we were criminals trying to scam the hotel. I will not be staying here again and will be advising anyone to do the same. It is a shame because the facilities were lovely but the staff were horrible
