"Lots of character but really well kept. Very comfortable with nice extra amenities in the room. Staff are great. Super food with fully stocked pub bar. Stayed in room above main pub and facing road but surprisingly quiet."

"This is a B&B above a pub/bar, so expect noise (which is advertised on the web site, to be fair!). Our kids had "free" music until 11:30 pm. Overall it is a nice place with a lot of atmosphere, even though it could use a make-over here and there. Overall, quite expensive for the value you get. We stayed there for one night on the SWCP, and would do it again."

"A fantastic stay and what an experience! Would highly recommend anyone to stay here. Great friendly welcome and everyone here could not do enough for you. The room was amazing and had the best nights sleep. We had a complimentary soft drink mini bar which was a nice touch. Bathroom was amazing too. We didn't eat here in the evening as had lunch at Rick Steins in Padstow, however, really enjoyed breakfast. Really can't wait to stay here again. THANK YOU Bodmin Jail Hotel, we will be back....

"  We stayed at The Port William Friday and Saturday night in January.  We choose this place due to its location to the coast and its positioning right at the side of Trebarwith Beach and the promise of a sea view and relaxing atmosphere.  We were not disappointed! This is a lovely spot right on the SW Coast Path and only a few miles walk into Tintagel. The rooms were small but cosy and more than adequate for our stay.  There is a small fridge stocked with items from the bar and nibbles -...

There were a couple of issues with lighting in the room but it didn't spoil our stay.A special mention for Becka , she was on breakfast duty every morning of our stay her welcoming smile and conversation was infectious."
