"A one night stay to allow my son and I to stay over after climbing Snowdon. Perfectly located, a premium was paid because of this. A simple twin bedded room in the coach house, ideal for our needs. A bath was appreciated, bubble bath would have been a nice touch. Excellent staff, very helpful and polite. This was consistent throughout the hotel, especially the young man serving in the bar in the evening and also a waitress at breakfast in the morning. The breakfast was self service and substantial. Highly recommended. An all round excellent stay, £166, breakfast included and free parking."

"All staff very helpful, friendly, obliging. Hotel is very old-fashioned and in consequence a little tired. Could do with some internal modernisation. Some lingering cooking smells in public areas and a stale smell in bedroom Excellent breakfast Enjoyed stay overall"
