"We loved a one night stay at Riverside cottages. We were there for a graduation from college of Charleston. And our whole family had a beach house at Folly Beach so we decided to just rent one of the bedrooms in the cottages. It was very pleasant. Everything was clean a good night sleep. The bed was comfortable. The next morning was a great surprise. "I was placed in a room adjacent to the ice machine and elevator, even though the hotel was barely occupied. The breakfast was on par with a gas station. I travel frequently for business, and the Hilton name is no longer a mark of quality or comfort. Hilton is the Taco Bell of hotels."

"We have been staying here for many years. It’s comfortable and convenient but is beginning to look and feel “used”. There was some mold in the bathroom, we had no hot water for showering our last morning ….. the front desk said that they would notify maintenance about the water but we were on our way so don’t know if issue got corrected promptly or not. Breakfast is good, fair selection and atmosphere friendly."
