"Delightful ild style hotel . The staff were terrific. They couldn't have been more friendly, efficient or helpful. The riom was lovely and comfortable and had a fabulous view over the sea. I had a wakeup call from the tapping of a seagull. The food in the hitel was good and given that getting an evening meal after 8pm this time of year it is an excellent option"

"We recently stayed at the lovely Blue Haven where we had a HUGE and charming room. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was fantastic…great soaking tub and toiletries. The staff could not have been nicer. The location could not have been better. Be sure not to miss the wonderful Bulman Pub in the next village on top of the hill."

"A surprising bit of luxury in a small guest house. We stayed at the Glen Quarter for one night at the start of a coastal tour, but now I kind of wish we'd booked two nights instead. Our stay fell on a Tuesday night in the off season, so I feel like we barely sampled the charms of Kinsale and now I want to come back for a longer stand (this happens A LOT in Ireland... Charming smaller towns feel so welcoming and familiar, but are eclipsed by the glamorous bigger cities). But back to the Glen...

"We did not have breakfast but regarding the stay, it was excellent. Due to the time of year (just after Christmas), there were very few other guests at the place, but I would expect it would be much more active in the Summer. No complaints."

"This hotel was just overall excellent. Though ranked a 3 star hotel, it reall is much more. Check in was friendly and efficient. Our room was so spacious and warm. The bathroom has everything you needed, but it was a bit dated, I'll admit. Breakfast was brilliant. Big choice of cooked breakfasts and served to your table. Big choice of fresh fruits, cereals and breads. So tasty. But the gems of this hotel are the staff. Friendly, courteous and professional. Nothing was too much for them to...

"This place was absolutely stunning!! The staff was so amazing and helpful. Their driver took us down for dinner at The Hunted Hog in town and it was so delicious. Our room was beautiful and so spacious. A complimentary bottle of wine was waiting upon our arrival. Would book this again and again and again!!! Unfortunately it was raining so we didn’t get to explore the grounds but from what I could see, that was also spectacular. "
