"The spa was a terrific experience."

"I stayed at this hotel with my 8 year old son for my 50th birthday. There was bubbly in the room when I arrived which was a lovely touch. The room was great, particularly the window seat which I was much bigger than I expected with plenty of room for both of us to sit and have a drink and look at the river. The room was clean and spacious, the coffee machine in the foyer really good for lattes and the staff were really helpful. I would definitely like to stay at this hotel again."

"Great location in Downtown, spacious rooms. However the outside noise of loud cars and emergency sirens were constant and often disturbing at night. Could hear neighbours talking on the room next door. Not a quiet hotel at all."

"Our stay was great. We had plenty of room to move around in. Our room was clean and had a great view of the city. The concierge was very helpful planning out our day….and the location is excellent - close and within walking distance to where we wanted to go."

"Hands down the best hotel I've stayed at. They were so nice, accommodating the room was amazing, fridge and freezer, had dishes and silverware, and a mini cooktop and dishwasher. Breakfast was fantastic! Something different every day we were there (6 days) including fruit and hot items plus the view was beautiful. Very easy to get anywhere on transit, the 146 took us to shed aquarium, field museum and the planetarium, the 147 dropped you at millennium and grant park, the 151 took you up to...

"VERY small and old rooms. Towels smelled awful. Dingy carpets. Zero functioning amenities. Staff was very unhelpful. Called the front desk at 11 pm to ask for help with the streaming service and was told, "It's late. Call back in the morning." The only redeeming quality was the location. I wouldn't have such a negative impression of the hotel if it was rated two stars but it was rated as "exceptional" and that is 100% inaccurate. Holiday Inn Express vibes at best."

"The location was great for getting around the city, near bus and train stops which were convenient. The magnificent mile and river were in walking distance. The hotel is very clean and updated. The continental breakfast was the best I’ve seen. Would definitely stay again."
