"The Lapin Blanc is undergoing an expansion, which I wish they had disclosed when I made the reservation. The tiny lobby area is undergoing construction (they're expanding into the shop next door, which will be great when it's finished), and the breakfast room is closed— so they provided coupons for a free crepe and coffee each morning at the creperie down the street. The small rooms are simple but nicely appointed, and the location is excellent on Blvd. Saint-Michel. I'd recommend Le Lapin Blanc, but ask about when the renovation will be done."

"We enjoyed stay at French Theory. Very attractive, arty setting. We were warmly greeted and assisted to drop off our bags hours before check-in time. Our room was spacious. We had expected a smaller Parisian room. We enjoyed breakfast in the café and would visit again"

"Location couldn't be better, room is large, quiet (our room faced an internal garden) and well equiped. Lobby offers a generous 24 hours supply of complimentary hot drinks and water. Only drawback is the awful 70s decor of the room. If you can disregard it, it's a great hotel."

"I like this old style hotel a lot. It is quiet and yet close to centre. Good food near. Except for one thing. The soap was taken from our room. It was 007 make and replaced with rubbish that has grit in handwash. And new scent not like 007!! Minor but noticed the difference"
