"Received a message prior to check-in to do a pre-check in but the link would not work. Called the location and said it wasn't necessary. There was always someone at desk and so helpful with the check in process. So smooth. All staff even to the valets were friendly and helpful. Great location when attending a Padres game. The area around has people heading to the game and short (safe) walk to the Gaslamp district for drinks and dinner."

"We thought parking was already included in the reservation. We had to pay almost $50 just to park one night within the hotel. It should say upfront on expedia page so customers know. Also heater did not work at all when it was cold, so when we asked for extra blanket, they gave us a very thin sheet-like blanket. "

"Valet parking was easy, although there was no one out front when we arrived, so we had to get out of the car to go in to find the valet. The front desk was friendly especially in the mornings. Late checkout was easy. Overall - hassle free and exceeded expectations. Although the light under the sink didn't seem to turn off which I thought was strange. "

"Arrived at 6pm, April 14/2026 to find prostiutes outside the doors of motel. Our room was discussing. All kinds of Hair everywhere, not vacuumed- food on floor and chairs and table. We had to wipe table off. While toilet clean before using. The only thing that looked tooken care of was bed. But we didn’t use as we went to front and talked with staff. No manager onsite only front desk girls. Nicky was the girl at front and was polite and finally after we had to make a lot of calls were able to cancel room and get refunded. It’s VERY sketch. "

"They have the best coffee machine of any hotel! It grinds the beans to make your coffee. Talk about fresh! Really good. And there's a microwave in the room to reheat it. 😁 Breakfast is fresh and so much to choose from. Much better than the expensive hotels where you have to pay a fortune for breakfast on top of the very high room rate. "

"Nice staff! However, the elevator situation is unreasonable. Two, 100+ year old elevators and one was down our whole stay. The other one was very unreliable and broke down multiple times in the span of two days. This is an 11-story hotel so good luck with your luggage if you’re on the 11th floor. "
