About what you’d expect for a hostel. Showers are disgusting, but it’s in a nice part of town & staff is lovely.

The room was plain , just a bed, a desk, and a place to hang stuff, but if you're looking for a place to just crash for the night, then the price for this place is just right. They serve snacks for breakfast, so you don't leave on an empty stomach, and there is an added attraction that they had interesting things in the lounge each evening, such as karaoke, beer pong margarita night, etc. The staff was young and delightful, all overseen by a very focused house mom (sort of). All in all, a very pleasant experience for the price.

It's a lovely place and I love the vibes of the staff and the people I stayed with. I will give a warning to people looking... it's a LOT of stairs. So it's probably not for people with bad knees lol. Otherwise, I absolutely recommend this hostel for anyone traveling to San Diego for whatever reason
