Hotels near Centennial Park

"We had a connection cancelled due to severe weather and got stranded in Chicago late in the evening. I booked this hotel on Hotels.com thinking it had an airport shuttle. It did not. When we arrived, the line to checkin was nearly out the door with one young girl working the desk and clearly using her phone to FaceTime someone who was guiding her through every step, every click of the mouse, etc. She was not trained and should not have been there alone. As a result, we stood in line for well over an hour to get checked in and didn't get to sleep until around 2am. This turned a miserable day into two miserable days."

"The noise at night was just ridiculous. Loud music loud kids in the hallway. Noise until after midnight. I asked for my room to be cleaned and refilled twice they came in no coffee,sweetener,stirrers.On the second cleaning there was only a half roll of toilet paper left and they never gave us a backup roll. They did not have breakfast so the coffee in the room was important. I travel a lot will never stay there again. "

"I witnessed a lot, and I stay here frequently when I travel to the Chicago area. People on the top floor are smoking with the windows open. CRACKHEADS walking in and out of the side doors. Lots of men standing around the side entrance doors smoking weed (I respect them doing it outside more than their rooms but move away from the entrance door at least). The elevator was trashy. Full of popcorn. I was nice enough to let the front desk attendant know. Everyone is ignored it! I'm shocked. I have stayed here at least 7-10 times. I have seen "odd" people walking around and sitting outside the front area, but not like this trip."

"Breakfast was good! I enjoyed that the proteins changed from day to day! The front desk staff were very kind and informative. I wanted housekeeping to come and take out the trash which they did AND picked up after us and made our bed while we were out for the day. We will definitely stay here again when we visit chicago again, its about a 40minute drive into the downtown area. Worth it if you want to have some quiet away from the big city each night"

"Washer and Dryer always broke. Machines are empty. You need another luggage cart , if 1 person has it its gone forever. Staff is excellent. Jackie and Zuluma are great but are limited. Cleaning staff is great and is custodial crew. "

"It’s an older property. Not old, but a little older. Bathroom is the obvious issue. Beds were awesome though."

"The clerk barely said two words to me when I checked in. The elevator was so jerky and the door started opening before it stopped on my floor. I stepped off the elevator and there was a pile of trash sitting right outside the door. I went into my room and flipped the blanket back and there was Mouse poop in the bed, between the sheets. I went back downstairs to ask for a new room and he acted like I was inconveniencing him. I was given a room on the third floor, there was another pile of trash sitting outside the third floor elevator. When I went in my room the carpet was so dirty I didn't want to walk on it barefoot or even in my socks. There was no washcloths or hand towels in the bathroom. The lamp by the bed didn't work because the grounding plug had been broken off in the outlet and nobody bothered to fix it or replace it. The security lock on the door was broken. I have never seen a more disgusting hotel."
