"Great hostel, good Central location. 5 minutes walk into the city centre, 2 minutes walk from the nearest bars and restaurants. Clean room, comfortable bed and good communication from the host throughout our stay. If I'm nit picking the only very slight drawback was, the bedroom curtains, weren't full blackout (I'm a very light sleeper) but this was a very small thing, and it probably won't affect most people. I would have no hesitation in staying there again. Recommended. "

"Felipe is super. Bedroom was clean and tidy - but there are rust stains in the bathroom and the bin hadn’t been emptied from the previous guest. But bed was comfy, shower was good, toiletries a bonus. Sadly other guests were the issue - banging about in the kitchen at 11.45pm - not very neighbourly. Having said that, would consider for a night or two when in Faro area again"

"Super mooi hotel! We hadden met onze dochter een familie kamer met 2x een 2 persoonbed. Hele fijne bedden en een heerlijke douch. Parkeren kan voor de deur, maar je kan ook in de garage parkeren en nummerplaat doorgeven. Het ontbijt was goed, maar kan iets beter. "

"I changed rooms to be away from pedestrian noise . Outstanding touches of old and new. Kitchen was adequate for a few at a time. Roof top was the best, tho still in the process of recovery from huge storms they had. Hot water was ok tho it was cloudy a lot . Excellent staff and good location to promedade and to ferries for day trips. 12 mins walk to Rail . Could ask folks to keep their voices down when in the kitchen as it travels easily to other rooms. "Super friendly staff and lovely, clean, comfy room. The air conditioning was very noisy but, as it was a cool night, I simply turned it off. If I had stayed during the summer months, this would have been more of an issue. Overall, the hotel was great and I would recommend. The hotel is extremely close to the railway station which was perfect for my travel itinerary. "Staff were lovely and attentive, bathrooms were clean, common room is a bit spartan... but the real issue is the beds; they're a bit of a mess. Wooden frames that creak, wobble like crazy, and wake everyone in the room over even slight movements. No AC, and the fans used to substitute sadly don't reach up to the top bunks so you're just profusely sweating while you desperately try not to move. Overall I'd say only stay if you really need a cheap bed. Think of it like an amusement ride!"
