The hostel was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The kitchen/dining room was well appointed and we used it to cook some food. Breakfast was served from 9 until 11am. There was also a small lounge with a tv, a small balcony, and a central courtyard seating area.
Free parking on the street is easy to find and it's not so far to walk to the town centre.
Beautiful, peaceful, and cozy place with very kind staff. It was very quiet at night and the continental breakfast was phenomenal! Thank you so much to the staff on site.
It was a good stay overall, a little bit off the main area but still close enough. The staff was very friendly and the breakfasts were nice. The bathrooms can be a bit busy in the morning but to be expected! I would definitely stay again!
Very short overnight stay as landing late at Faro airport. Self check in to a very comfortable room with a great shower. Staff were extremely friendly and a lovely portuguese breakfast was provided. It has a hostel type feel which we really liked and would be a great place to launch your algarve adventures from.
Quaint welcoming property providing a great Portugal vibe. The owner posted great instructions for check in and awesome directions.
The only downside was the obviously distressed dog who barked at night.
Older but well kept guesthouse. Man at front desk was very helpful and provided detailed directions to restaurants etc. Comfortable firm bed. Would stay again.
We had a great one-night stay here. It’s very central for access to Faro old town (10 mins walk). The room was airy and clean and we were pleased to be able to check-in much earlier than expected. Breakfast was included and was very tasty with lots of continental options.
The guesthouse was a different type of accommodation. It was in a convenient area, 12 to 14 mins to the marina and this waseasily done on quite a few occasions.
The staff there were terrific and looked after the place well.
Breakfast was all that was needed to start the day.
My only knock on the place was the aircon in room 6; fid not do the job when it was warm.
Everything was perfect. Staffs were super friendly. Very close to all main places and old town. Good price with good services and breakfast. Definitely recommend it

The stay was a throw back to the 60s when I first traveled Europe. It’s a family run business for generations. They were extremely warm and accommodating. We needed to take the train early the next morning, and the station was within walking distance. Breakfast is generous. I didn’t even mind having to share a bathroom, as all guests were seasoned travelers and respectful. Charming

My stay was short and sweet. Arrived late at night, and left in the morning for a week long road trip BUT this place was a short ride from the airport, clear instructions for gaining access, everything clean and well maintained, nice breakfast array in the morning. Was a quick walk to marina. Would definitely choose again for a longer stay.

Very clean everything you could need stayed in no8 the place was fantastic . Just needed some fresh air in as it was a bit damp due to the early season.
It’s a beautiful property. We had an amazon time staying. It’s so clean and peaceful. We loved that everything was of white colour in the room. It’s tiny but that’s what we paid for. Amazing budget option in Faro.
And the owner/manager who met us, is an amazing person. I would definitely book this property again
Lovely warm welcome from the host, who let us check in earlier than planned. They took us on a tour of the place and then left us to it. Easy location to find, fresh clean decor in a lovely building. We unfortunately missed out on the breakfast but could still use the kitchen if we needed. Would certainly recommend a longer stay here we were just there for one night.
The drawback is if it’s rainy day, you won’t have much hot water for shower. The first night when we arrived at hotel was a rainy day so we barely had a hot shower. The host was super nice and will offer free breakfast.
We loved our room the studio suite. So clean and cute! The kitchen very nice as well as both table set up very nicely. Only drawback for me was I am a vegan and there were no milk options for coffee. Some fruit but the pastries always looked so good. Fresh rolls were vegan and good. My husband and I did have trouble walking so far 2 times a day into old town for both lunch and dinner. We are getting old and were tired from 2 months of heavy walking in Lisbon. Wish I booked a little closer. Staff was wonderful!
The accommodation was good value and not too far from the centre of Faro. Breakfast was a nice touch and even as vegans there was bread, jams, fruit, juice and coffee available.. We had not expected a shared bathroom as the listing on Expedia only specified this in Portuguese and lists “rainfall showerhead” as an amenity for the room in English - this is misleading and should be changed.
We had multiple messages from the hotel asking us to reach out if we needed to before and during our stay..This initially seemed really friendly, but I received no reply after sending three communications via email and Expedia asking whether we could leave luggage for a few hours when checking out. We didn’t see anyone else to ask until we were actually leaving.
Overall this is a decent place which offers good value for money, but communications were not great and it is somewhat misrepresented on Expedia.
