I want to start by saying that the hotel is absolutely beautiful. The rooms, the restaurants, the pools, and the beach — everything is gorgeous. The staff treated us incredibly well, and I honestly don’t have anything bad to say about them. I only have great memories with the staff. I can’t remember many names, but I do remember that Jorge took great care of me at the pool — he was amazing.
The only issue we had was that my friends and I got sick on our second day. We were a group of five, and three of us got sick during the trip. I’m not sure if it was the water or the food. I’ve never had a stomach bug before in my life, and this was my first time. This was also my third time in Cancun and nothing like this had ever happened before. Even sick, I tried to enjoy as much as I could. Unfortunately, things like this happen. I don’t want this situation to take away from how beautiful the hotel is or how wonderful the staff treated us, because they truly went above and beyond every day. I just hope the hotel can look into what might have caused this, so future guests don’t go through the same experience. Besides that, everything else was perfect, and I would love to come back one day when I can fully enjoy everything the resort has to offer.
