"What makes any place feel special is the people—and all our exchanges with the staff here were wonderful and respectful throughout our stay. I tend to run cold and always need extra blankets, and they provided as many as I needed without making me feel uncomfortable about it. Just that alone, gets a 5 star from me. Beds were comfortable. "This property was actually perfect for what I wanted. I just needed to stay one night near Monterey and a clean and affordable room. This fit the bill. The front desk person was very friendly and helpful. It’s an older property and so a tad shabby in spots, but it was clean and that was what mattered to me."
