"Hotel clerk was so rude . I went there with my girlfriend at 2 AM after we got back from the game. That’s the New York Knicks game. Nowhere on the side says they require two pieces ID one for you and one with the person that you with I was trying to explain to him that we live far away and that I have reserved the room through Expedia. He did not care and he just told us to find another hotel if we have another ID, I have my drivers license for my girlfriend left her in her car. We were forced...

"An excellent place to stay after our first hotel was abysmal. Joel and Orlando were more than helpful and welcoming. I’d recommend a raise for these two individuals."

"It was a very nice hotel. The history of the building was interesting."

"The actual hotel was fine, the area that its in is not safe. Just outside of the entrance there were homeless people laying on the ground and strung out on drugs. I didnt feel safe at all having my family in this particular area of the Bronx. Would never stay here again for that reason."

The staff at the Bar and the conceirge we extremely kind, and helpful and provided top tier reccomendations for local entertainment and food options. The pool was unfortunately still closed. Property was clean overall and easily found from the bus and subway stations, within walkable distance to the Apollo and lcoal shops."

"The room was clean and perfect for our trip. Having it so close to the subway entrance was super helpful we didn’t take a single Uber the whole trip. There were cute coffee shops, spas, organic grocery stores, and cafes all within walking distance. The staff were all kind and helpful. They make a point to be a more sustainable hotel and you can actually see proof of that in a bunch of little ways that I appreciated while staying there."

"There’s no place to park, unless you park a block away and then you would have to pay for parking. Not in a safe area to park. The area itself didn’t look safe."

When I first arrived, it took quite a while for the front desk employee to acknowledge me, as she appeared to be finishing up a phone call and working on something else. However, once she did, she was kind and helpful. The main issue during my stay was the temperature throughout the hotel. My room was extremely warm, and despite setting the thermostat to a cooler temperature, it never seemed to make much of a difference. The hallways and common areas also felt...

"Overall, I was impressed, the room, location and parking yeah I feel it was a great choice. However, I wanted to mention that I experienced an issue with the hot water during the evening. It took a significant amount of time for the water to warm up while showering. But again I was impressed and would probably stay again when visiting NYC."
