"After a red-eye from Los Angeles I needed a spot close to the airport and rental cars for my overnight in Brisbane. The View Hotel in Hamilton stood out from the rest. Ideally located looking across two reaches of the Brisbane River, the hotel lives up to its name, so I did myself a favour and booked a view room. Wow, it did not disappoint. I woke with the sun and decided to take a walk along the riverfront path that follows the water for miles. Best of all, the hotel is a short stroll from the River Cat Ferry, the best way to take in Brisbane's amazing scenery, and it will only set you back 50 cents for the ride. Highly recommended."
"This is a convenient location and close to everything. The hotel is starting to show it's age, but it's still comfortable. Beds are comfy and we enjoyed our stay there."
"Easy and friendly check in and check out. The hallway on the floor we were on smelled a bit damp, but the room didn’t. The room was clean, and the beds comfortable. Bathroom quite small given there were 4 of us - probably not the best room for 4 people. Breakfast was excellent; options to cover everyone, very attentive staff and good food. The kids enjoyed the rooftop pool and the complimentary pool towels was helpful. Great spot to enjoy some sun and downtime. Location was super handy and we would definitely stay again."
"The pool is shaded from the biggest building in Brisbane. Yes you get sun till 11 am in May but after that you need to relocate to a park for the sun.
It’s an old hotel and has beer spilt smell in main hallway but otherwise good value."
