We got a welcome upgrade which was nice. We enjoyed the view from our balcony. Unfortunately, the Spa is unusable. The property has buses & trains nearby. It is reasonably close to restaurants, cafes, a small supermarket, the museum & Southbank Parklands. The staff were helpful but a little hard to understand.

The room is ok, furniture is dated and scratched up. Bed was ok but not the most comfortable, ok for tiny people with short legs. Pillows are soft and low and there are no extras in the room. Very basic utensils in the kitchen. I was there as a relative was in the hospital so it was nice and close to transport. Walking distance to CBD, Supermarket, Cinema and hospitals. Could use a bit of a spruce up. Laundry facilities were great and appreciated. Windows let in a nice breeze even on hot days, but noisy with traffic on main roads. Staff were pleasant and helpful when needed.

Although the reception hours were limited, the staff were very helpful and supportive. Room was very comfortable with view from balcony and wonderful views of the River city from Rooftop. Easy walk to Fish Lane bar, South Bank entertainment precinct, many eateries and bars. Walk directly to the Casino over the river from South Bank. Good holiday stay.
