"Stayed at the Fox and Goose for 5 days. Looked after by the staff at all times. Very comfortable room which was serviced daily. The food was excellent with good sized meals which were served by very pleasant staff. Will definitely stay there again."

"As soon as I checked in, friendly lovely staff members let me check in a bit early which helped as I had heavy suitcase and I got my room straight. They gave me recommendations for food nearby too which was really helpful as I wasn’t sure what was good local foods. If you want a place to stay in Barry this is it for sure. And one other positive right next to the Barry station within good walking distance."

Breakfast and dinner were superb and akin to gastro pub quality and generously portioned. We wouldn’t hesitate to return next time we visit family in the area. "Good quiet location on the edge of Bridgwater looking out onto fields. Busy pub mid-week in April when we were there with people sitting out enjoying the weather. Good dinner and breakfast."

"Staff uniforms were filthy and the floors were covered in food. Owner didn't greet with a smile nor was very friendly. There were broken ornaments on display. Shower door was broken and didn't close properly and the shower itself was a dribble of water. Im glad it was onky for one night!"

"Very friendly, helpful staff. Had an excellent breakfast and, although I didn't eat in the evening, the menu looked very appealing. Good atmosphere in the bar and generous supply of tea, coffee and biscuits in the room. All in all a positive experience."

"Lovely stay breakfast was delicious and staff very attentive. Room was modern but had a few cosmetic issues such as tape on laminate flooring and a shower screen that didn't stop the water from pouring out. It didn’t affect our stay but from a glance minor repairs could be made. Would still happily book again as location and breakfast alone was well worth it "

"Lovely small place which was nice and quiet. Room was clean. Couldn’t hear any planes even though we were very close. My only problem, and it’s not about the actual accommodation, but it’s not that easy to find, being tucked away in a small lane which is difficult to see. It’s on the opposite side of the Airport Tavern and from there you need to head UP the road and past The Forge. But it is within easy walking distance of the airport, only taking approximately 10mins"
