"Spacious off-street parking behind the hotel. A warm welcome and efficient staff. Clean, neat room and ensuite. Lots of hot water, soft towels. Comfortable bed. Nicely cooked breakfast with excellent eggs, bacon and toast, coffee and juice (other options available). Staff deserve a special commendation - there was an unexpected power cut in that part of town in the morning, but they managed to serve an excellent hot breakfast with no fuss or delays. Thank you!"

"We stayed at the Royal Leanardo prior to our cruise disembarking from Southampton. The hotel is within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. We found all the staff friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and our bed was comfortable. We would recommend a stay here for anyone prior to a cruise. The concierge arranged taxi reservations and the coordination of transportation to the cruise terminal for the guests. This was helpful."

"Although our room was small, the finishes were good and we had a very comfortable bed. Good quality bed linens, and a very attractive headboard and blind. The bathroom was newly fitted and certainly was well done. Even a shelf for toiletries - often missing! Decent sized towels too.
