"This was a wonderful weekend getaway! We highly recommend this bed and breakfast. The staff, Claire and Nigel, are so kind and welcoming and we appreciated their hard work and hospitality! The views are fantastic. The location is ideal for exploring northern Wales and even western England. We will for sure be coming again! They also have alpacas and ducks and chickens which we enjoyed greeting each day! Breakfast was filling and phenomenally prepared, made-to-order."

"The lodge rooms are superbly quiet with absolutely no road noise although friends staying in the main hotel were disturbed by traffic noise. Lodges are freshly decorated with great bathrooms and excellent daily housekeeping The continental breakfast had a good selection of fruit and yoghurt. The hot food was cooked to order which I much prefer to buffets. The full Welsh breakfast was quite a meagre portion with poor quality sausage, although the other choices such as poached eggs on brioche...

"Such a quaint old Welsh building in a lovely rural setting just outside of the market town of Ruthin (it is in the middle of a static caravan park but a very pleasant one). A great location for exploring the many places to see around the area . Rooms are of a good size and well equipped. "Stayed 1st - 3rd of June. Absolutely amazing stay for our mini moon. The staff, the food, the room were all incredible. We can't wait to come back, so much so we have already pre booked a suite for our one year anniversary May 2027. Very relaxing stay just what we needed after a manic wedding weekend. "Gavin and Christopher have put a lot of thought into giving you an enjoyable stay at the Manorhaus Ruthin. The rooms are decorated reflecting welsh designs. The dining room has beautiful sculptures. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were delicious with a lot of choice. The coffee was excellent. Overall we had a great week end stay. The Manorhaus is only minutes walking into the centre where there are several excellent eateries/restaurants"

"Owner Dave and his daughter were extremely friendly and welcoming. Summer Hill Guest House in a very good location to explore the area. The breakfast was excellent and there was a large choice available for all tastes. Parking was good but would be a bit awkward in busy periods. Room was clean and had a very good shower. We had room 2 and if you're like me 6ft 4 watch your head as you enter...also it would have been better if there was a couple of chairs and table rather then a small fold out...

"Good selection for breakfast, traditional country pub good variety of beer's limited wine selection, food was nice although limited as we stayed for 3 night A special thank you to Ella who was extremely helpful and professional. Room was clean and modern shower was really good. There is a lack of storage space and no where to hand clothing some hangers would be welcome. All stsff were pleasant and helpful. We will be booking a stay there again "
