"The hotel is very well situated, just a few minutes’ walk from the old town, making it an excellent choice for exploring the area. Parking is also very convenient, which is a big plus. The reception staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel itself was clean, but the room I was in was a bit dated and could benefit from some maintenance. For example, the back of the bathroom door showed signs of water damage from the shower, with peeling paint, and some of the furniture is in need of updating. These are not major issues, but a bit more attention to detail would really improve the overall experience. Overall, a comfortable and convenient place to stay, but a little refurbishment would make it even better."

"Breakfast was very good, good variety and hot. My wife is Lactose intolerant and wheat free. The staff were very helpful in making sure that she was given freshly cooked items. The room was clean ans Sraff very friendly. We didn't use the bar as were were attending an R.A.F. Reunion. The only disappointment was the cost of the car park."

"Clean property, amazingly friendly staff (especially Matilda). Loved the ambience, the quality of the food and wines. Only very minor quibble was we were in the eaves which did not give us a lot of headroom when getting into bed. Loved this place and would highly recommend it and would like to return in the future. "Beautiful location and cottage, all you need is contained in the cottage. Friendly and helpful hosts. Not too far from Lincoln and other towns. Well worth the money, would recommend to others. Easy to find just look for Kirkby Green Light Railway on google. However please note they no longer accept pets"
