"The room and bathroom were both spotless. Staff very friendly and helpful especially when I put the wrong registration number in for the car park. We had dinner in the restaurant on our last night and it was perfect."

"Pleasantly surprised and would highly recommend. Room was spacious and clean. Loved the wines glasses! The breakfast was perfectly adequate and the shared kitchen clean and pleasant to sit in. We paid for carpark and were allowed to leave car the next for a visit of the city. A nice 20 minutes walk along the canal. Host very prompt and polite by text once we had booked. Great price for the convenience and facilities. Thank you ☺️ "

"The room was fine, great bathroom. All the staff were friendly and polite. When I reached Damon's, the reception member of staff quickly realised I was physically disabled and immediately changed my room for a ground floor room to make things easier for me. I only used the restaurant for breakfast, which offered a really good menu with reasonable prices.I was sorry not to have the time to visit the resaurant for an evening meal. "I had a good stay at the Castle Hotel. Lovely little hotel, super comfy bed and gorgeous bed linen. The room was spotless and generous tea and coffee making facilities. Nice bathroom products. No A/C as it's a beautiful old building, but that was fine as was able to open windows and control the radiator. I didn't have a cooked breakfast but buffet options were fine and the other guests seemed to be enjoying their cooked food. I will stay again, thank you."
