"Even in the nicer rooms, this hotel has the so-called "open bathroom design", which is just a horrible mistake. Bathrooms need to have real doors, that close. Not flimsy sliding doors with an inch gap when closed. That is not a door.
After that, it doesn't matter much what the rest of the room is like."

"Giant bug (like 2 inces long!)n the bathroom ran under the vanity. We left the light on and night and wore shoes insode the room and stepped out of the shower into a towel only! Overall the hotel was pretty run down for the cost. Wouldn't stay there again."

"Initially, the hotel looked amazing on Expedia with its proximity to Universal Studios Hollywood. However, I had to be switched/upgraded to another room due to my room being filthy with stains everywhere (walls, carpet, headboards, and bathroom). For being recently renovated I was under the impression it would be cleaner and a more enjoyable stay. However I was upgraded but the second room was 50% better.
