"My wife and I spent three nights at The Danna Langkawi in late June 2025, and it was truly exceptional. Without a doubt, this is the finest hotel I've stayed at during my extensive travels across Southeast Asia. Our experience far exceeded both our expectations. "Its been a very bitter sweet experience We enjoyed our stay for 3 nights, however tonight our 4th night we wish we were not here & we can't wait to leave here tomorrow morning! Reception inform us tonight that we have a 100 ringet fee charge to pay as a bed sheet has a mark stain.....i view a photo of a small mark looks like blood maybe from a shaving cut or maybe from a nic whatever it is small but not intentional and we are embarrassed and upset that we are asked to pay for this fee. Its suggested my 18 year old granddaughter may have caused the stain! This is a most awkward situation over something that guests should not be dealing with! We did not ruin the linen, we didn't do anything to the linen like draw or write on it so its rude that guests should be asked to pay a fee. It ruined our last night stay here at the resort, we did not sit at the bar to enjoy a few drinks as we did every other night INSTEAD we went upto our room and discussed how upsetting it was and my 18 year old granddaughter didn't want to sleep on the bed incase she has a cut on her leg that could open laying on the sheets...she is very upset as its made us feel uncomfortable laying on the beds. How many guests are charged a fee for marks stains from having relations on the sheets? Periods? Children have runny nose or blood nose? The list goes on, what about towels is there a fee if the towel gets a bit of blood from cut leg shaving or period??? Save your guests from being humilated in future!"
