"Stefano was a great host and very accommodating. We appreciated the effort he took to greet us and make sure we were comfortable. It’s a great location with lots around. Walking distance to the train station, colosseum and Trevi fountain. The only thing that could be improved is we found the air conditioning was not very strong. But overall we were very happy with our stay."

Our airline lost our luggage and we had difficulty tracking down our bags for several days. We were on a multi-city vacation and the staff at Mecenate Palace Hotel assisted in communicating with and tracking our luggage. We truly appreciate their professionalism, kindness, and assistance."

"Different kind of like Airbnb not a typical hotel. They’re very responsive via WhatsApp. Thought transportation was complimentary but it’s not. The AC is not on when you get there, takes a bit to get comfortable."

"Bed had very thin sheets but you can adjust temperature in the room pretty easily. The staff were incredibly kind. Breakfast was not included. Air conditioning works very well. Wi-Fi is very spotty and weak,(if you need Wi-Fi for work or to schedule future stays do not stay here because it constantly disconnects and reconnects.) There was no real amenities, not even water bottles. For an extended stay I wouldn’t recommend staying here, but if you are staying a night or two I would say it’s fine."
