"The property had friendly and professional staff. The hotel was clean and updated. The breakfast was good. We travelled to the area for a concert at UVA. I was concerned about the distance of the hotel from the venue, but it was an easy drive and had several exits in between with plenty of restaurant and shopping options. I would definitely stay here again."

"Breakfast was a little pricey. The room we had did not have a mini fridge or microwave, which I should have noticed prior to booking. So that’s on me. Area is beautiful and the staff are nice and helpful. I will be back with my kids so they can enjoy it too. "

"I always have great experiences at Holiday *nn Express. Room was clean and well maintained. Staff was super nice and accommodating. They got us a portable crib for my 3 month old which was really awesome. Break was great. No smoking allowed on the property. I will only stay at Holiday inn Express from now on."

"Staff were pleasant and helpful. I selected this hotel because it advertised a restaurant onsite. It does not. Breakfast is self-service like most restaurants, but there is NOT a restaurant. There is what looks like a bar with hours posted, but it wasn't open once. I even confirmed with hotel staff. There is no restaurant on site."

"The hotel was closed upon arrival and no one ever arrived. The windows were broken and there was an odor of cat urine and a dozen feral cats. We left since the hotel was closed and sought other accommodations. I will demand a full refund from Expedia and my credit card company. Filthy!"

"The room was spacious and had a comfortable bed, but twice we found long black hair that wasn’t ours on a pillow and the comforter. Our towels had rips in them. One of the bedside lamps had a burned out bulb, and when I went down to the desk to ask for a replacement, there was no one there for a long period of time. I eventually gave up. The alarm on the old-fashioned clock radio in the room surprised us by going off super early in the morning. The lobby and hallways had a weird disinfectant...
