"Nice hotel in a very good location but the rooms were hot and the thermostats must have been set and controlled elsewhere because no matter what we set the rooms at, the temperature never got cool. It made for a warm night sleeping. Otherwise it was great. "

"Great location for walking to the theater to see Hamilton. Super easy check-in and our room was comfortable and clean. The staff were all very nice. The attached restaurant, Elephant and Castle, was delicious. We ate there for both dinner and breakfast. They sent us a link to pre-pay for parking the day before our stay, which was very helpful and made our arrival and departure very smooth. Would definitely recommend!"

"I had a nice two night stay at the Blackstone. It’s well maintained, clean and staff are friendly. It’s near the river and was a 5-10 minutes walk to the Art Institute and Auditorium Theatre. Bath products were lovely and the robe was so comfy. I was a solo female traveller and I felt very safe and comfortable at this property. Two small considerations: the restaurant closes by 10. Coming home from the theatre, it would have been nice to have a nightcap option that didn’t require an uber ride. The second suggestion would be for reusable cups and a non-caffeinated tea in the room. I reused a coffee cup for tea and unfortunately it had a “cafe au lait” hint! "

"Solid stay. Out bathroom was upgraded and awesome. Good water/coffee options. Amazing view. Comfortable bed. Nothing fancy, no frills, but totally a solid stay, especially for the price, and the location was fantastic! Perfect quick in/out for a concert around the corner. "
