Walk around the Zócalo, officially known as the Plaza de la Constitución, the city’s bustling main square and the heart of the Centro Histórico. One of the largest city squares in the world, the Zócalo has been a centre for public gatherings for centuries. Look inside the imposing Metropolitan Cathedral on the north side of the square.
