The Grand Brighton

"Fabulous stay. We were so impressed with this hotel. The decor is stunning, Our room was perfect. Breakfast Lunch and drinks were excellent. Staff were extremely professional, but lacking a little in a warm welcome ( except for the long curly haired lady in bar who was particularly lovely) Duty manager went the extra mile to help us which was brilliant. Thermal suite was fab, charged at Β£30.00 extra but we thought they had a swimming pool but it's a small thermal pool and children cannot use it. Location can't be beaten, It is right across from the beach and a short walk to Brighton Pier, The Lanes, Aquarium, a superb food hall and lots of bars, restaurants and cafes. My only complaint was that I couldn't stay longer!"

"I was very happy I paid extra for a Seaview room, the room was large and the view fantastic. Great location, right on the seafront, lovely and easy walk to either Brighton or Hove. My only concern was the bath/shower, it was an over the bath shower that was very narrow and slippery, I was very concerned about slipping."

"The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable. Staff were friendly and ready to help with any inquiries to make the stay easy. Check in was very quick. Free car parking a great bonus! Easy walk to a lot of attractions. Would definitely recommend others to stay there."

"It's a grand old building - and some of the public areas downstairs are nicely done, and look great. Big and spacious reception/foyer and bar area as well (Didn't use the restaurant). The room was a good size, and a decent price - but as wih many of these big, old properties, it's worn & tired. It was cleaned well, and plenty of space."
