"The Bull is a traditional pub. We were warmly welcomed on arrival. The bed was comfy and shower worked well. Breakfast had plenty of choices, including lovely fresh fruit and was cooked beautifully. Jane is so friendly and couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a delicious breakfast "

While some of the reviews mentioned noise in some of the suites, we only heard guests downstairs when we were in the bathroom and then only in the afternoon. It was quiet in the evening / night. It was a great place to stay after a 5,000 mile trip from the Western US and recover from jet lag before going on to meet friends and family elsewhere in the UK. (It’s about a hour from Heathrow). "Upon arrival my reservation was “lost” but they stepped up and took care of me without hesitation (I had the receipt they had no record at all) I was very impressed. The meal was amazing! All the staff I encountered were amazing, everyone was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!"
