"Title: Giada shines, but the shower is a spaceship coffin Aurelia Vatican Apts delivers on the basics: the room was clean, if a bit plain. No frills, but no complaints there. The real downer? The shower—a tiny capsule that could barely contain me. Stepping in felt like climbing into a cryosleep pod on a spaceship. Claustrophobic and awkward. Location-wise, it’s a quiet residential neighborhood, which sounds peaceful, but be warned: it’s a wee isolated. You’ll walk a bit for restaurants or metro access. Fine if you like calm, less fine if you want Rome’s pulse at your doorstep. Then there’s Giada, the front desk manager. She arrived shortly after we did, and thank goodness. Bubbly, warm, and immediately likable. She looks a bit like Anna Wintour minus the glasses—sharp, stylish, but genuinely kind. She snagged us Coliseum tickets for that same day (miracle). Vatican Museums were long sold out—no fault of hers. She offered to stash our luggage once the room was ready and mapped out a brilliant two-day itinerary tailored to what we actually wanted to see. She was hands-down the best part of the hotel. We also appreciated the shared kitchen. Fully stocked and orderly with a full sized fridge, stove, oven, and microwave. If you’re a smaller person who doesn’t mind a quiet, slightly remote base and values exceptional service over luxury, this place works. But if you’re over 175lbs or need a proper shower, brace yourself. Giada makes it bearable; the bathroom almost doesn’t."

"The hotel was nice in a good area. The hotel needs some TLC like updating the bathroomsmake the showers bigger. We had a belcone that was nice but no unbrella so we could only go out early in the morning or after the sun went down. They have a nice area to have abreakfest but they do not offer one they havewe a vending machine that takes away from the hotel makes it look cheep. I would also like to see in the evening they over a bar and finger foods that is what my father inlaw does at his hotel and I have seen it at others."
