The only thing I can say that's somewhat negative is that we missed having coffee and tea in the room. Most hotels will have these amenities but they were not available in the room."

"Beautiful quiet room, particularly comfortable bed, friendly staff. Beware that there is no elevator and the stairs are narrow and steep. Sometimes felt like too much at the end of a long sightseeing day. Lively pub with good food, surprisingly couldn't hear it a bit from the room!"

"Terrible communication from the host - I emailed a few times and the responses were very slow, also checking in at 4 pm and checkout at 10 am is unbelievable, when they charged me almost £200 for only 18 hours! I tried to communicate with the host, they weren’t very responsive. However, they kept sending me generic messages over and over again, including repeatedly telling me that check-in is at 10 am. Will not be staying here again."

"This is my second stay at this hotel in a little over a month. It is a very charming historic building that's been stylishly updated in a books/authors/library theme consistent with the academic setting of many nearby universities. I stayed the first time in a large 1-bedroom apartment and second time in a smaller standard double room. Both rooms were very comfortable, nicely decorated and included very nice amenities. "This hotel is in a great location. They are the seven dials which has a ton of restaurants, stores, and things to do. It’s very bustling, but also convenient. The rooms are renovated and very nice. The bathroom was a little small, but honestly that’s to be expected in a city hotel in Europe. We’ve stayed here several times and would stay here again. It’s a great choice in London."
