Our room was lovely, with a large and comfortable bed, plenty of cushions, and a peaceful, warm atmosphere. There were also tea-making facilities and a fridge, which was a nice touch. We didn’t get a chance to try the spa or gym facilities this time, but breakfast was excellent - a great variety on offer, quick service, and perfectly cooked scrambled eggs! "Lovely quiet location, super handy for the airport. Warm welcome from the host. Super clean room, funky decor, comfy bed. Small touches like fresh milk in the in-room fridge, water and biscuits make all the difference. A lovely change from a “hotel”. Definitely would stay again. Thank you!"

"The room included parking and breakfast. Staff were helpful and friendly. Good location for Ambleside and getting the boats to other parts of the lake. Lovely clean room, good bed and bedding. Breakfast was hot and cold buffet and very good as were the evening meals."
