"Upon checking in, staff welcome you and greet you along with taking your luggage. We arrived early and the staff on the reception rang housekeeping to check if our room was ready. Room was ready within 5 minutes of checking went to our room and it was so spotless and clean. The location isn’t far from bowness boating pier with easy access from local taxi companies and uber. Upon checking out the reception staff held our luggage for the day and due to the weather tried to locate an umbrella for us. 10/10 service would definitely recommend."

"Attic room needs a little TLC, bath taps looked old and velux window was taped in place. A few walls with marks on and the bed not the most comfortable. But nicely decor and very clean. The whole process is very impersonal, an email with a code to use the door and no real interaction with anyone other than staff in the restaurant. We left the room and no one around to ask how everything was etc. Left us feeling a bit cold about all. But it’s a nice enough place and it did the job. We just like the human touch a bit more than you get here."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The two brothers running the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. They made us and our dog very welcome. The room was spacious and comfortable with a patio and view of the lake. Breakfast was very good and there were even sausages for the dog. There was plenty of parking and just a few minutes drive to Bowness-on-Windermere. Good value for money and we would definitely recommend staying here."
