"Breakfast buffet was sub par. Had everything you need but I was hoping for more Norwegian options, it was quite basic. Location of the hotel is perfect, easy to get to from public transport. Staff were so kind and helpful. Amenities like the sauna and pool weren’t the best. The areas are so small and it was very busy. We didn’t really get to enjoy either."

"Breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide choice of items. I found the room small & and not really huge amounts of room for two suitcases. On the plus side, it was the height of summer & there was air con and the room comes with a decent smart bathroom. The conditioner was cheap and useless - bring your own. Pool & sauna pleasant but they could do up the basement entrance to it. Overall though, in a very central location close to the harbour & lots of nice restaurants."

"The staff are very helpful and the location is superb for travelling and for sightseeing.
However, the compact double room was tiny with basic amenities. It was clean on arrival but after that they only clean every fourth night unless you ask. The room was in a warren of corridors with shabby carpeting. The breakfast was average - the hot items and the beverages were lukewarm at best."

"You will need to take a taxi from the airport to get to this hotel but you are going to LOVE this hotel. Everything about it was fantastic. The staff was very friendly. It is so close to everything. And I mean EVERYTHING!!! You are close to the Royal Palace, shopping, museums, etc. This location has everything. The Grand Hotel Oslo would be another place I might stay but I would compare pricing before deciding. The Karl Johan just had everything."
