"I liked that tram was right next to it the hotel, was convenient to go shopping the room I stayed had a nice view of some parts of the beach, Staff were friendly welcoming and helpful, 5 to 10min walk close to beach, restaurants and cafes. "Old and very tired, in need of refurbishment. Three main things define a quality room - Plumbing, Pillows and Aircon, FAIL on all 3. You can hear other people's plumbing running. The pillows are thin cheap ones probably bought from Coles and the aircon was ineffective. Had to set it to 17C and flat out to even get the room down to a temperature where I wasn't sweating. Hardly slept and won't ever stay here again!"

The only aspect I did not particularly like was the towel exchange process. Guests were required to bring used towels downstairs to exchange them for fresh ones. "We had a lovely stay, bit of a confusion over the booking when we arrived, as we had clicked 'breakfast included' on expedia, but this wasn't. Alvin was fantastic and sorted out. Hotel is located about a 20 min walk or 5 mins on the tram to the centre. Tram stop is outside. Breakfast is awesome, loads of choices. Would definitely stay again."
