"This hotel was right in the main square, which was nice, and it was the only one of 5 that we stayed in on this trip that included breakfast, which was very nice, but the room felt dated. I mean, the town IS from the 13th century, so gees, what can I expect, but I expected the room to be a little nicer. I have a feeling we got a lesser room because we booked through Expedia, because I saw a few other rooms in my brother's travel group who booked directly with the hotel and theirs were much...

"The hotel is nice, clean, and located in a quiet area. The price was very reasonable, and there is also car parking available at the hotel. It’s in a great location between Florence and Pisa, so we stayed there as a halfway point during our trip.
The owner, Elena, and her brother are very nice and welcoming. They even helped us with a late-night check-in after 10 PM, which we really appreciated.
Note for future guests: Regular check-in is between 2 PM and 8 PM. If you expect to arrive after 8...

"I will dream of this property forever. It has the most magnificent view of San Gimignano and the countryside, and is literally a 5 minute drive into town. It was the perfect escape for our honeymoon this summer. The only thing I wish we had, was more time to enjoy the hotel. The breakfast was super tasty! "
