"The room was clean, the staff were great and friendly. We had booked the compact room which was okay for a one night stay. Had all the necessary facilities. Great shower. Receptionist informed us that there was a jam session on that night and we managed it for a short while before we had to go as in Greenock for a family celebration. Continental breakfast was included in the price but a hot breakfast could be purchased. Excellent hotel for the price."

"Fantastic hotel which has clearly had a lot of work done in recent times. I was greeted warmly by Ricky and checked in to Room 2, which was massive - and simply perfect for my (5 stone) greyhound, as he had space to move. The Royal Marine is one of 2 dog friendly hotels in the area, and as you can see, His Lordship was made ever so welcome and he slept like a log, as did I! "lovely hotel, we really enjoyed our stay at the Lamlash Bay hotel, we were in one of the top floor rooms so the slanted roof was a bit of an issue for me but I managed to navigate without too many bumps. We really enjoyed the food on offer in the restaurant and it was nice just to chill out in the bar or take in the views outside, Top quality food, location and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
