"Plenty of parking at front of hotel. Really helpful staff especially Jepson who sorted a ground floor room for me. Nice spacious clean comfortable room. Breakfast is 7-10 am so plenty of time to get served . Lovely evening meal and quite reasonably priced for a nice hotel. I asked for chips instead of rice but was later advised rice was an integral part of the dish. "The staff were friendly, helpful & professional. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The restaurant and bar were furnished to a very high standard. I ate dinner on the night of my stay & the service and food were to a very high standard. Breakfast, both selection & quality was also excellent. Thanks to everyone for a lovely stay & I'll definitely be coming back."

"Fantastic hotel which has clearly had a lot of work done in recent times. I was greeted warmly by Ricky and checked in to Room 2, which was massive - and simply perfect for my (5 stone) greyhound, as he had space to move. The Royal Marine is one of 2 dog friendly hotels in the area, and as you can see, His Lordship was made ever so welcome and he slept like a log, as did I!
