"As others have stated, this hotel is a bit tired but still provides a spacious hotel with impressive views. We were disappointed with some of the food on offer. The staff were very friendly and helpful."

pleasure leisure weekend
"went for 2 night stay, ended up staying another 1. only 2 things stopped it being all 5 stars were the stairs and pillows to soft. they even froze my fish for me to take home fresh. will definitely go again."

"We spent 3 nights in the St Ninians flat upstairs. The view across the Clyde was fabulous, possibly better than the downstairs flats. The house is well placed for travelling around the island with bus stops nearby. It was kept very clean and the beds were very comfortable and the heating came on ..."

Country cottage, peace and quiet
"Beautiful spot in the countryside with a wee stream running behind the cottage, very peaceful. We booked as 5 adults, Hotels.com simply stated 2 double beds and 2 single beds.
