"Fantastic property. Very clean well accommodated and updated room with comfy beds! The pool and beach area is gorgeous and well maintained. Our only true complaint was the noise from neighbors next door through the adjoining room doors. Those doors are not very sound proof at all. Make sure to bring your own body wash, shampoo and conditioner. They do provide very tiny bottles (for a couple uses each) but they aren’t very good quality products and it’s not enough for more than 1 night stay. We...

"Overall it is a nice place and convenient for local travel. I really think the $40 per person per day resort fee is outrageous. A lot of the place is privately owned or under construction. Your resort fee gets you towels and a chair at the beach, access to a small water park. A shuttle and WiFi. It would be more honest to raise the daily rate and drop the fee. One timer for us and can’t recommend it to others. "

"Excellent property! Restaurants on site - and convenient to the Mucky Duck ect.
Nice rooms - clean.
This time we choose beach view and the sunsets were Gorgeous!
Pool areas are nice .
A little busy the week we went -
Outside bars and food make a day at the pool enjoyable.
Beach access is right across the st and you can rent chairs and umbrella for $25
A great place to just go and relax.
Some days we didn’t even leave .
Recommend the Shelling or Dolphin tour with Captiva Cruises as they are...

"This place was a huge disappointment and absolutely not what I expected based on the Expedia rating. The unit was tiny, outdated, and not very clean, with paper-thin walls and ceilings - we could clearly hear the guests upstairs late into the night and again early in the morning. There was no proper lobby or on-site staff, the AC created so much condensation that surfaces and even the TV were wet, and basic touches like coffee for the coffee maker were missing. "Our stay at Seahorse Cottages was absolutely perfect! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen had everything you could ever need. The bed had high quality sheets and the mattress was very comfortable.
The grounds around the cottages were attractive and well kept. We loved having two porches as options for spending time outside. One was sunny and one was shady.
