"AC wasn’t working - sent maintenance who said ac was working just needed time (he used his temperature tool to show the vent air was cool (62). I travel with a thermometer (to know temp when thermostat just has high/low settings). The room showed 75 - and was 75 when we woke…. So I guess his tool is broken!"

"Rooms felt kind of small but reminiscent of hotel rooms in Asia. For larger oversized Americans it feels kind of cramp. The beds were comfortable. The buffet was ok but not as good as other holiday inn express in the mainland we have stayed at. But we looked forward to rushing down to get a table each morning before it filled up. The only downsides were that the AC in the room is extremely loud and noisy. If they could get quieter ones it would be perfect. Even though these are old window units...

"Staff is so nice, friendly and accommodating. Location is perfect, walking distance to the beach and Ala Moana mall. W-line bus stop is right in-front of the hotel, easy commute to the airport. Parking is safe and secure. Great place to stay for a quick vacation! "

"Great check from ELIZA! The younger bell staff are most welcoming and sincere...bell captain a bit subdued (perhaps tired) Our bellman upon departure was OK for AM luggage pick up, while not the usual upbeat aloha spirit we've seen in our years of staying at your property. Ala Moana will STILL always be the fave by my friends and family - mahaloz!"
