"I really wanted to love this 250 year estate. I loved The history , the idea of the chocolate estate and supporting local . This could be a real gem and I am aware it gets great reviews that’s why I chose it I will say for a night or two may be ok I would not do longer than that . We had the cottage with a pool . It’s not the resorts fault this is a very eco type hotel in that there is no hot water in the shower for example and they say it’s an outdoor shower but it really was more a gas...

"Absolutely a great place to stay. Quiet, small, relaxing with a very calm beach. If you’re looking for a place with more things to do this is not the place. If you’re looking for a place to unwind and relax without being a bigger resort with a lot of noice you will love it. No snorkeling here as there is nothing to see. "If you want water AVOID THIS PROPERTY! We were there 8 days, 4 of which there was no water for several hours. Apparently this is very common, the housekeeping lady asked if we wanted buckets of water to fill the toilet. Even when the water was "fixed" it was the slowest trickle. The toilet took 15 minutes to fill after flushing and the shower was a total joke, our relatives in the next room couldn't even wash their hair. The outside shower never worked and the rooms are band aided together....

"I loved everything about the property. House is big, space is well thought out. Has everything you need if you will be cooking during your stay. Place is well maintained. Host is amazing. Very helpful, gave us information about where to eat and beaches to go to. Definitely a place to book if you looking to stay close to the airport in Saint Lucia. Highly recommend!"
