"The room was basic but contained everything I needed. I had a garden view on the top floor which was lovely. The air con worked fine and so I kept windows closed which had the added benefit of keeping mosquitoes / bugs out. Having my pot of tea and biscuits in the room each night was a nice touch. Besides the room, the property was gorgeous. Very well laid out and plenty of activities. The only times spent in the room were to shower, get changed, and sleep. "The place had roaches and we immediately left and found a different place to stay! It promotes itself, as if it’s hotel but it’s really an Airbnb in a very bad neighborhood in St. Lucia!!! don’t book."

What sold me was the service. Anne, the owner is a super wonderful host. We arrived on the ferry after 9pm. She collected us from ferry dock. "Overall it was not a pleasant experience from the minute we checked in. I was abandoned during the check in for thirty minutes. When the clerk came back the apology was not acceptable and offered nothing to smooth it over. I hoped that would be it and could move on but turned out that was only the beginning.
