"Nice room, clean and well presented. But the TV was broken on arrival, someone had tried to rewire it and got the connector the wrong way around. Staff couldn't help as they were not technical and as there was no other rooms available I had to stay there (to be fair they offered me a free breakfast to make up for it). But no water, no fridge, basic tea options. "

"The Columba Hotel was an amazing place to stay in Inverness. The location along the river is beautiful, and within walking distance of anything you'd need. The staff were especially friendly, and the breakfast options were amazing. Our room was very clean and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again! "

"My room was cosy and very clean. The bed was high and the linen was immaculate and very comfortable, a proper princess bed. Location is walking distance from shops, restaurants and the quaint harbour. Breakfast was tasty and well presented. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would recommend to others. "

"The most wonderful stay of our 3 week visit to England, Scotland and Ireland! The owners (they work there everyday) are delightful people, warm and gracious! They have been on a 20 year mission to lovingly upgrade the Grand Dame of Scotland and are succeeding! The Coul House is THE best value for what you get in return.
